Tolfa

Nestled among green hills and pristine woods just a few kilometers from the sea, Tolfa is a characteristic medieval town in Lazio. Its historic center, with picturesque alleys, churches, and ancient buildings, exudes an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The Borgo della Rocca di Frangipane is the ancient core, located about 500 meters above sea level. From the square of the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Rocca and the ruins of the Castelli di Frangipane, you can enjoy a wide view of the sea and the hinterland. The village can only be explored on foot, along a Roman road. The village is completely urbanized, with a water supply, electricity, and Wi-Fi, and at the same time maintains its ancient functional architecture, evident among other things in the narrow streets.Nestled among green hills and pristine woods just a few kilometers from the sea, Tolfa is a characteristic medieval town in Lazio.
